About Kamila

Polish born singer Kamila grew up in Hamburg, Germany. She began performing on stage from an early age, playing the violin, dancing, jazz and classical ballet. 

As a member of the renowned Hamburg Youth Orchestra, she toured through Germany and Asia, making appearances on national television. At the age of eighteen Kamila began her training in classical voice, but quickly jazz singing became her over-riding passion. She took part in multiple jazz and vocal festivals winning first prize in the vocal competition Blomenburg 2000 in Germany and was runner up at Poland’s prestigious competition for young vocalists Festiwal Malwy in 2001. 

Kamila was chosen by Poland’s finest jazz musicians, such as singer Lora Szafran, to perform as a finalist at the Kraków Jazz Masterclasses in 2007. She was chosen from hundreds of singers to perform at the Color Line Arena in Hamburg with Germany’s most famous jazz singer Roger Cicero at his “Artgerecht” Tour in 2010. 

A dentist by profession Kamila moved to London in 2008 where she continued her musical pathway performing in Jazz clubs such as The Spice Of Life, Jazz Café POSK and at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall Ignite Series. Kamila is now based in the beautiful city of Lucerne, in central Switzerland.
